From there you can click on any date, and either view the video, or quickly read through the printed copy to find practice times, club announcements, or just general information. |
On Friday, September 19 there will be no school. However, CACC will still be in session. Buses will be here by 8:00 a.m. and leave promptly at 8:15. Please make sure you are here and ready to get on a bus! Seniors- Jostens returns for orders on September 17 during lunch and September 18 before school. Both of these ordering times will take place in the Commons. (Run T &Th) Any senior who would like to take the ASVAB test, can come to the guidance office and sign up with Mrs. Metz or Ms. Keri. The test will be held at the end of October. Seniors- If you got an early graduation contract from Mrs. Metz, they are due back to Guidance by September 18. You must have a contract on file with Mrs. Metz by this date if you intend to graduate in December. Spartans—it’s hard to believe but Homecoming will be here before you know it. Get that dress and get that date. The homecoming dance is Saturday, September 27 from 7-9 here at Southeast High School. Tickets are $10. They will be on sale the week of September 22. They will be $15 at the door. If you are bringing a date that does NOT attend Southeast, you MUST fill out a date request form. These can be found in the main office and are due back by Wednesday, September 24. Any questions, please see Mrs. Barcik in Room 103. Attention all seniors!! Just a reminder that you have to get the meningitis A vaccine by October 1 to remain in school after that date. Please make an appointment to get that shot. Then let the nurse know you got it. Attention all 9th graders!! Just a reminder that you have to bring a current physical to the nurse by October 1 to remain in school after that date. Please make an appointment to get your physical and bring that physical to the nurse as soon as possible. |

"Muted Book Club will meet for the first time of the school year on Thursday, September 18. See Ms. Thompson in the library to sign up for your lunch shift or if you have any questions." (T &W) Key Club will meet in room 110 today, 3:25-3:45. We will discuss volunteer opportunities and club events during the meeting then have an optional after-meeting volunteer opportunity 3:45-4:45. |

ㅡ Awards/CelebrationsCoach Hamilton, our boys basketball coach, and Senator Doris Turner have teamed up to promote non violence in schools. Many things will be offered from this grant money, but one thing everyone enjoyed last year and could participate in was Gift Card Giveaway Friday. All you have to do is be referral free, that includes cell phone, headphones, and dress code referrals. There is a little bit of a difference this year, instead of being referral free for the WHOLE year, Coach Hamilton wants students to reflect on their referrals, make necessary changes, and get another chance at a gift card. So each month is a fresh start. How do you know if you win? Watch Friday morning announcements. The wheel will spin and name 3 big winners of $50 gift cards to be claimed in the student office. So check those Friday morning announcements and stay referral free each month! |
