FMS arrival and dismissal procedures return to normal beginning Monday, September 14. Thank you for your flexibility during the recent disruption!
Please read this important information about pick up for car riders for today, September 11th.
As the city continues to work through the water main break in front of FMS on Outer Park
Drive, we are needing ALL parents that are picking up today to please pull into the Town and Country Shopping Center parking lot and find your designated waiting spot by grade level. Students will be on the sidewalks in front of the shopping center with District 186 staff supervising.
We are asking that after you park your car in our designated waiting spot that you walk to your student to pick them up. Due to the amount of traffic flow in this temporary pick-up operation our student’s safety is our top priority.
Please read and reference the map carefully. Upon arrival, look for wayfinding signs or ask someone in a vest for help:
Parents with multiple students will park in the parking lot of the oldest sibling.
6th grade - parking spots in front of the Board of Elections offices.
7th grade - parking spots in front of Chuck E. Cheese
8th Grade- parking spots in front of Old Burlington Coat Factory
Just a reminder - Parents CANNOT pick up in the West Parking lot by the Salvation Army/Delta Church.
We appreciate your cooperation and flexibility with this procedure.
